Senior Financial Analyst

Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a full-time position with benefits.
We are seeking a “dynamic, results driven” individual who can work under minimal supervision.  
Responsibilities:
* Supporting general ledger activities including processing journal entries.
* Reconciling general ledger accounts
* Analyzing key reserves and
* Assisting in the management of a wide variety of other key reporting and control activities.
Key accountabilities:
* Prepare and process journal entries (e.g. calculation and booking of accruals/provisions)
* Reconcile general ledger accounts in an accurate and timely manner
* Assist in the coordination of accounting close activities
* Analyze key reserve activity to ensure values are properly stated
* Perform accounting analysis comparing actuals to various reporting periods and scenarios
* Assist in the coordination of internal/external audit processes by providing/collecting requested documentation and explanations
* Process and reconcile intercompany transactions
* Perform accounting research and ad hoc projects as needed
* Perform income statement, balance sheet, and cash forecasting
* Provide support and guidance to operations teams and other functions with respect to accounting related transactions
* Work closely with other functions (e.g. Sales, Supply Chain) to resolve business matters and mitigate financial reporting risk
* Assist in SOX compliance documentation and testing
