Position Description
Seeking an Engineering Technician for a full time position with benefits. This is a 2nd shift position. The job is to set up test parts on a multitude of different test machines, programming the machine to run test to specification, inspecting the parts after test and writing test reports. This is a mechanical, hands-on position to work in a test lab. A mechanical background is required for this position.
Primary Skills Required
* Mechanical background
* Good analytical ability.
* Good oral and written communications skills.
* General interest in automotive product Design, testing, analysis.
* Familiarity with basic machine types.
* Familiarity with design, build and test services.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Primary Skills Preferred
Education Required
* Prefer a 2-year college degree or currently towards getting one, in Mechanical Engineering Technology, mechanical field of study, etc.
* ASE certification acceptable. Military experience working with mechanical systems acceptable.

Work Experience Required
* 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience as a technician in an engineering or testing environment.
* Office computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel etc. desired.
* Experience with automotive driveline components, fatigue testing desired.
