Position Description
Seeking Systems Support Engineer for a fulltime position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Work with PCD electronics team to define system architecture for power electronics circuit protection device electronics & embedded system
* Define product requirements in terms of functional and nonfunctional engineering requirements in response to the marketing/customer requirements specification.
* Define and design data flow and communications schemes between various modules and processors in a multi-core multi-processor based systems
* Lead the embedded software design of electronic products to meet or exceed marketing/customer requirements.
* Ability to see the “big picture” and design the system that is innovative and flexible.
* Plan work in detail at design team level, creating a robust and track-able plan.
* Review own work as well as others work in formal design and quality reviews.
* Tests work, meeting quality and reliability goals.
Initial Duration: 12 months
Primary Skills Required
* Technical expertise in electronic circuit design, testing and debugging
* Circuit design using Altium, board support packages, device drivers, hardware bring up, detailed hardware verification using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and test tools.
* Technical expertise in embedded software design and implementation for multi-tasking based systems
* Proficient in C and C++ to develop multi-threaded embedded applications based on real-time operating systems, including implementation of control sequences, communication protocols, user interfaces, bug tracking and code repository systems

* BS Electrical Engineering or BS Computer Engineering
