Position Description
Seeking a Systems Engineer to coordinate, plan and communicate status for global system, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and bench validation execution on e-mobility project team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Manage Test planning for global team across Hardware In Loop (HIL), bench testing and System validation on a dyno for high voltage inverter projects.
* Manage daily and weekly plans based on software release needs, field issue analysis and occasional hardware team dyno usage.
* Create Metrics to track progress for test completion, pass/fail and ensure proper documentation and issues are logged in the system to track.
* Report status of testing multiple times a week.
* Lead coordination/planning sessions to create plans, manage daily through scrum meetings.
* Able to manage agile environment with dynamic priority changes, assessing impact of changes and summarizing clearly and concisely to leadership and team.
* Good collaboration and communication skills
Primary Skills Required
* Experience in testing embedded systems in an automated HIL type of environment.
* Proficient in software and hardware measurement and analysis.
* Understanding of real time processing systems and common issues.
* Experience with lab setup, establishing of test lab equipment and processes.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
* Outstanding interpersonal and problem solving skills.
* Strong ability to work directly with individuals and groups.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Self-starter who can work cross-functionally with other people.
* Experienced working with global teams.
Primary Skills Preferred
Education Required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
