Position Description

Seeking Software Developer for full-time contract position.

The developer will be responsible with working on expanding the features of the current data plotter in the ProFX Configure tool for the purpose of making the plotting easier to use, more flexible and more powerful. The current plotter is based on the SciChart commercial tool.
The developer will be responsible with understanding and documenting the new plotter requirements, implementing them in the code, writing and executing test plans and delivering the new version of the tool. The tool is designed using .NET framework, C# and WPF.

Initial Duration: 3 months

Primary Skills Required

* Experience with OOD, Multithreading, Design Patterns. * Experience with C#, .NET framework, WPF, MVVM, HTML5, JavaScript. * Experience in developing user interfaces that provide enhanced user experience * Experience with processes and tools for requirements capture, change and configuration management, continuous integration and continuous delivery. * Experience with software test methodologies and tools and development of software test plans. * Excellent verbal and written communication in English with ability to clearly convey project status and timelines to senior leadership * Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. * Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams and a diverse cultural environment.

Primary Skills Preferred

* Knowledge of data security and encryption methods. * Familiarity with embedded systems * Experience with communications interfaces and tools.

Education Required

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Software, Mechatronics)
