Position Description
Seeking PCB Design Engineer for a full-time position. The engineer will be required for the design of power electronic and control circuits for DC-DC converters. Engineer will work closely with the lead engineer taking the design from concept through prototype development including design, documentation, board layout, board bring up, testing and debug.
Primary Responsibilities
* Assist in power, analog and digital circuit design
* Schematic development and part creation in Altium Designer
* Modify/Create existing/new Interface Board Design for DC-DC Converter.
* Modify/Create Gate Driver Design for Selected MOSFET Module
* PCB layout for high power converter, interface board, Gate Driver Boards
* Assemble prototype PCBs
* Conduct board bring up, bench test and debug
Initial Duration: 12 months
Primary Skills Required
* Multi-layer PCB design experience specifically with high power converters
* MOSFET and IGBT gate drive circuit design experience
* Analog and digital interface circuit design experience
* Board bring up, test and debug
* Hands on experience using test equipment
* Embedded firmware development and debug
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* 20+ years related design experience
