Position Description

Seeking NVH CAE Analysis engineer for a full-time position with benefits.
* CAE analysis coupled with experimental testing
* Normal Mode, Dynamic Response, Motion Analysis and Radiated Noise Prediction.
* Customer interface on CAE/NVH problems and concerns
* Coordinate CAE and/or development programs with Product Engineering
* Coordinates with vendors and/or customers on a regular basis
* Stays abreast of new CAE technology

Primary Skills Required

Specialization in CAE analysis specific to Noise and Vibration * Advance understanding of CAE tools including FEA/BEA and Motion * Familiar with NVH testing methodologies including Acoustics, Vibration, Acceleration, Impact Response * Strong Digital Signal Processing Proficiency * Training in computer applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint * Training in Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys and/or Adams required, Altair Hyperworks * NVH tools including LMS Test.Lab or Head Acoustics Artemis * General interest in product design, particularly automotive * High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual or difficult * Understanding of engineering theory & principles of design * Strong oral and written communication skills required * Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others

Primary Skills Preferred

* Background in music; such as playing an instrument, performing, recording, production * Transfer Path Analysis * Noise Prediction Techniques * Machine Learning * Excel VBA/Macros * Power BI

Education Required

* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Physics with a background in Noise, Vibration, or Acoustics
