Position Description
Contract Mfg Engineering – Plant Operations Support
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support Production in Plant for an alternative work schedule which may include 2nd and 3rd shift or weekend coverage plans
• Assignment will be to support machining and assembly operations.
• Assist Operations and Skilled trades to troubleshoot and fix equipment and plant network problems.
• Communicate with all stakeholders, supervisor, engineers, skilled trades, etc. to meet customer requirements
Skills Required:
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Demonstrated knowledge of PLC logic to troubleshoot / fix down machines. Specifically, Allen Bradley (Rockwell) type controllers
• Knowledge of Fanuc CNC machining Operations. (Machining Center, Lathe, etc).
• Working knowledge of industrial ethernet networks
• Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls
• Prefer ability to perform troubleshooting and basic programming of Fanuc Robots
• Prefer ability to work with vision systems and barcode scanners
• High level interpersonal skills to work with Plant personnel
• High level of analytical skills
