Unigraphics Designer

Position Description:

Use CAD DESIGN software to generate 3D solid DESIGNs, assemblies, and associated drawings for complex products, mechanisms, and / or complete components, sub-systems of vehicles. This position will be working on Columns and I-Shaft products using Siemens NX CAD Software and Teamcenter PLM.. Work independently with supervision. Work directly with engineer or customer.

Skills Required:

Vehicle DESIGN background, in-depth understanding of products and manufacturing operations. Competent in 3D CAD, including solid modeling, surfacing, assemblies, and drafting. Ability to evaluate basic tolerance stack-up. Ability to create parametric solids and free form surfaces. Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning tolerancing (GD&T). Working knowledge of Product Data Management file systems. Basic understanding of Configuration Management concepts. Basic knowledge of algebra, geometry, trigonometry. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Oral and written communication. Analytical skills to solve complex problems.
