Mechanical Technician

Position Description:

Position Type: Technical Primary Description: Columns and I shaft Laboratory Technician Position Description: Set up/run column and I shaft tests Write laboratory test reports Work with engineers to develop new test set ups and procedures Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks Coordinate proper instrumentation calibration

Skills Required:

Familiarity with the more complex mechanical concepts Knowledge of basic math Ability to read prints Oral and written communication skills Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks

Skills Preferred:

**Needs to be more mechanical and hands on**

Experience Required:

1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Experience Preferred:

ISO/TS-16949 knowledge a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others Has a thorough understanding of capabilities and application of laboratory procedures

Education Required:

Two-year associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent experience Willing to consider a highly motivated person also
