Position Description:
Customer Contact Specialist - 2nd Shift- FULL TIME * Act as the liaison between Nexteer and the customer * Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to the customer * Thoroughly understand customer requirements and ship schedules * Maintain data integrity with respect to the billing process * Communicate material shortages to customers and Nexteer schedulers * Set up expedited shipments when required * Resolve Cum errors and quantity discrepancies * Work with schedulers, shipping docks, and the planning group * Flexible Hours * Work overtime as required * Work weekends as required
Skills Required:
Knowledge of basic math. Oral and written communication skills. Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Skills Preferred:
* Knowledge of QAD/TMS systems * Knowledge of logistics * Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes * Operations or PC&L experience
Experience Required:
1 - 3 years of relevant experience.

Education Required:
High school graduate or equivalent training, plus training such as that acquired in the first year of college, technical or business school. Bachelor's degree preferred.
