Manufacturing Expediter

Position Description:

Work with Engineering and Prototype Personnel to achieve 100% delivery of Prototype Assemblies or Components to all Customers Prepare component quote packages for purchasing quotations Expedite and track components from Plants and outside Suppliers to meet completion dates Maintain Supplier records Escalate issues when required Track and approve Supplier Incoming Material Certification (IMC) documents Complete assembly Build Packages Define required components and technical specifications from Engineering Complete Bill of Material (BOM), Warrant, Router, Tags and Labels for Build Packages Participate in weekly program status meetings Provide Product Line Manager (PLM) information for quoting purposes

Skills Required:

Training in Prototype and Supplier Management areas Knowledge of geometric, dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes High level of oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize daily work schedule PC literate (Excel, Word & Microsoft Outlook)
