Manufacturing Expediter

Position Description:

Schedule and follow-up on delivery of products, parts and materials. Decisions are made based on established policies and procedures. Work performed independently with supervisor available to handle unusual situation. Facilitates and expedites the flow of materials to and from various departments. Deals directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods to appropriate locations. Inspects goods upon delivery to verify delivered goods match order specifications. Handles any delivery inconsistencies or delays. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Skills Required:

Knowledge of basic math. Oral and written communication skills. Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Education Required:
