Stock Room Manager

Our material stock manager plays a key role in making the vehicle of the future a reality and ensures the success of our Delphi operations. As we expand our global footprint, we are looking for a talented individual with a knack for organizing and tracking hundreds of parts to support the build of our autonomous drive demo vehicles in Pittsburgh, PA.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will perform the following tasks:
- Organize incoming materials and parts to allow easy access and tracking.
- Monitor stock level of each part weekly and prevent stock from falling below minimum level (this will require an understanding of lead times and ability to take timely actions to replenish stock as needed).
- Order and receive parts in Delphi ordering systems or other approved methods.
- Follow-up on order and delivery timing with carrier and/or supplier and track packages to verify receipt of goods in good condition (or take action to resolve issues).
- Manage vehicle documentations and maintenance schedules (if needed) to support vehicle builds

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to be self-directed and execute tasks with minimal direction from others.
- Lab or stock management skills and experiences
- Strong organizational skills – we keep 350+ parts in stock.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal.
- Dependability - we roll-up our sleeves, take on challenges and get things done because what we do matters and together, we are changing the world.
- Basic computer skill to access Delphi system
- Advanced experience with Excel is preferred; we use Excel to help us track our inventory today and are looking for someone to improve our inventory tracking spreadsheet.
- Ability to appropriately secure high-value parts to prevent theft or loss.
- Ability to resolve problems when they occur and proactively prevent problems altogether.
- Knowledge of automotive parts a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, and walk
