Predictive Quality Analyst

POSITION: Predictive Quality Analyst MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Assist in the collection and analysis of data to create and improve statistical models of shop floor quality • Effectively collect and digitize data that is manually created • Scrub data utilizing repeatable methods • Create graphics to explore potential relationships between variables • Apply and refine statistical modeling methods using appropriate software including: • Linear regression • Logistic regression • K-means clustering • Hypothesis and Significance testing • Neural networks • Create and communicate effective summary reports

Oral and written communication skills. Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others. Ability to organize, plan and document tasks. Knowledge of basic technology in area to which assigned. Analytical ability where problems are somewhat complex.

Skills Preferred:

• Demonstrated problem solving/statistical capabilities with the willingness to learn IT software tools, or; • Demonstrated IT/programming skills with the willingness to learn statistical methods behind “Big Data” analysis • Self-starter with the ability to work with incomplete information • Demonstrated knowledge of basic statistics and computer programming • Familiarity with database interfacing preferred • Familiarity with analytical packages (Minitab, Microsoft PowerBI, Azure) and programming languages (R, Python) preferred

Experience Required:

0-2 years experience, willing to work with someone who is entry level and open to learning and comfortable with statistics/Analysis

Two years college or equivalent training.
