Facilities Manager

Shift: M-F 7 AM - 4 PM

A. Maintenance of Southfield facility, kitchen and grounds, HVAC including repairs, plumbing, safety systems, building automation controls, landscape maintenance, general building maintenance activity in accordance with Eaton environment and safety requirements, and ISO14001 guidelines and requirements.
B. Monitor and respond to issue in the Building Automation system
C. Lead or Provide support for energy reduction programs
D. Maintain and service equipment used for building maintenance operations and procedures.
E. Provide direction as needed to internal and contracted maintenance resources performing activities related facility maintenance.
F. Ensure budget alignment with facilities manager with monthly spend
G. Assist the EHS analyst with implementation of environmental health and safety initiatives and the completion of environmental health and safety maintenance activities.
H. Comply with requirements of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
I. Perform other functions as required.

Basic Qualifications:
• HS Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in facilities maintenance

Position Criteria:
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Basic electrical understanding
• Basic Programmable Logic understanding
• Ability to safely operate grounds maintenance equipment.
• Strong understanding and ability to implement and maintain safety and environmental requirements
• Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety and providing customer satisfaction in all activities and assignments
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
• Demonstrated ability to direct projects
