Primary Skills Required
- Strong understanding of Oracle 12c/19c database administration tools and practices including RMAN, Oracle Grid, ASM, Real Application Clusters (RAC) and OEM.
* PL/SQL tuning, diagnostics, proficient with the use of Oracle's Enterprise Manager.
* Ability to perform basic PL/SQL development, UNIX and Linux shell scripting.
* Ability to solve problems independently, quickly and completely, and to communicate them clearly to peers, customers, and management.
* Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to business needs.
* Strong customer focus and management of customer expectations, ability to establish and maintain a positive level of user trust and confidence in IT's knowledge of and concern for users "business needs".
* Develop/maintain application documentation following standards.
Education Required
* Bachelor’s degree required in information technology or related field.
Work Experience Required
* Requires at least five years of hands-on Oracle database administration experience contributing to the successful design, development, implementation and change management of mission critical databases.
* Oracle Database Administration experience with configuration, maintenance, legacy data conversion, data warehousing, database tuning, backups, disaster recovery, load balancing, backup/recovery, sizing and space management.
