Position Description
Seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to work on the payroll garnishment team.
Duties include:
* Read and interpret court orders to garnish wages
* Input garnishment information into the payroll system
* Receive and sort mail as it pertains to court orders and garnishment work
* Work through reconciling items for garnished wages - payments made, GL entry not recorded or GL entry recorded and payment not made
* Answering court and employee inquires as it pertains to garnishments
Primary Skills Required
* Good understanding of payroll garnishments, court procedures and payroll systems.
* Accounting - General Ledger entries, reconciliations, reporting etc.
* Proficient with MS Office
* Be a self starter who works well as part of a team.
* Have good communication skills both oral and written.
* Have the analytical ability to interpret orders and data and act on the information.
* Have the agility to work with modern digital tools such as office 365 as well as old mainframe tools such as GEAC payroll
* Have strong learning agility
Primary Skills Preferred
Education Required
Associate degree preferred.
