Position Description
Seeking a Quality Engineer for a full-time position with benefits.
* Coordinate containment of material at supplier and in transit. Responsible for disposition of material once contained at Company location.
* Support on-site sorting or approved rework at location as needed to support continuity of supply.
* Initial follow-up on supplier containment and corrective action.
* Supplier 8D review of actions and supporting documentation for closure. On-site verification of 8D actions supported through supplier development engineering function as required.
* Follow-up of CS1 Shipping Level if required.
* Follow-up of CS2 Shipping Level if required. Approval of CS2 condition is required.
* Participate in Quarterly Worst Supplier Reviews.
* Coordinate Change Management Process with Suppliers through plant-specific Change Management Processes.
* Support follow-up on customer of Company-identified annual PPAP requirements.
Initial Duration: 15 months
Primary Skills Required
* Knowledge of TS16949 requirements including AIAG APQP, PFMEA, MSA and PPAP required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook.

Education Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
