Mechanical Engineer

Position Description:
* Responsible for static, dynamic design, and analysis of mechanical systems, equipment and packages.
* Conducts feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs.
* Provides design information to drafting for packaging documentation.

Skills Required:
* High level of analytical ability where problems are unusual and difficult.
* Understanding of engineering theory and principles of design.
* Effective oral and written communications skills.
* High level of interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and with others.
* General interest in product design, particularly automotive.
* Familiarity with basic machine types.

Experience Required:
* College graduate or 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Education Required:
* College degree with a major in engineering.

* Training in college level theoretical and applied mechanics, vibrations, fluid dynamics, physics, metallurgy, electricity, thermodynamics, heat transfer and techniques.
* Training in computer applications.
