Manufacturing Supervisor/Production - 1

Seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor (Production Supervisor) for a full time employment.

Supervise groups of employees involved in production operations in the plant. The work is generally of a technical nature with the ability to make decisions within the limits and ensure that group is working in support of the organization goals/objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment. Controlling absenteeism and punctuality and applying preventive or corrective actions. Maintain discipline and a high level of morale at work. Maintain daily communication with the personnel in charge with the results, progress, and goals of the department (provide feedback). Inventory management. Prevent the accumulation of inventory.
* Know the production schedule and quality requirements. Compliance daily production program. Ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. Participate in product improvement and efficiency of the production department with a program of continuous improvement and cost reduction. Participate in the implementation of corrective actions for problems and defects in the lines. Continuous monitoring of operations in their area, to understand the attitudes and problems of the staff.
* Implement corporate and division policies. Ensure that procedures for assembly and proper circuit board handling are followed.
* Maintains safety and good housekeeping standards.
* Understand local and divisional procedures applicable to their area of responsibility and reinforce compliance with their staff.
* Maintain good communication with the support team, between shifts and departments involved.
* Keep the management informed of developments in the area.
* Keep records of your personnel organized and updated.
* Flexibility Chart for the correct assignment of employees in different working positions.
* Provide support in compliance with quality system following the procedures established in the area of responsibility. Ensure that the handling of documentation is correct. Maintains defined processes controls of people. Participate in the implementation of corrective action. Participate in Layered Audit
* Safety responsibilities: Follow up of the safety procedures (EPP). Safety Tour Observation. Communication of Eyes for Safety. Safety Training
* Environmental responsibilities: Know all chemical products utilized in his/her work area. Know the risk involved in handling, storage, utilization and disposition of each product. Utilization of the necessary protection equipment when working with such products. To know and correctly understand the identification labels.

This is a contract position. Initial Duration is 12 months with possibility of extension.
