Seeking a Customer Contact Specialist for a full-time position. The position is in the 2nd shift at an automotive components manufacturing plant.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Act as the liaison between the Company and the Customer.
* Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to the customer.
* Must thoroughly understand the customer requirements and ship schedules.
* Maintain data integrity with respect to the billing process.
* Communicate ALL material shortages to the customers and Company Plant Schedulers.
* Set up expedited shipments when necessary.
* Resolve any Cum errors and quantity discrepancies.
* Work with other Customer Contact Specialists, Company Plant Schedulers, Shipping Clerks and the planning group.
* Interact directly with outside truck drivers.
* Must be able to work flexible hours, work daily overtime as required and work weekends as required.
