Position Description

Seeking a Human Resources Generalist for a part-time position (20 hrs/week).
Duties and responsibilities:
* Responsible for all administrative functions in the Human Resources department including Oracle HRMS, monthly reports, coordination of training, new hire orientation, coordination of special events, maintenance of employee files, coordination of employee recognition.
* Responsible for all administrative duties related to the human resources function.
* Update/process confidential employee information and maintain employee files.
* Assist in the administration of new hire orientation.
* Schedule interviews of hourly candidates.
* Maintain HR metrics through appropriate database.
* Coordinate reward and recognition programs.
* Complete HR projects as assigned.
* Coordinate training programs and documentation.
* Handle administrative responsibilities with Oracle HRMS.
* Responsible for the administrative requirements associated with the collective bargaining agreement.
* Responsible for administration of union salary schedules.
* Maintain accuracy of employee files.
* Counsel employees on HR policies and procedures.
* Responsible for hourly job posting process.

Primary Skills Required

* Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) * Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines * Effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever changing priorities and responsibilities. * Flexibility and adaptability

Education Required

* Associates or Bachelors degree in a related field.
